Something about butter and sugar and flour is just the best.

Some people take up fishing, or online gaming, or heroin. But baking cakes is what does it for me. Never having baked before having children, I’ve found it’s my favorite outside-of-work creative outlet. (I also enjoy building snowmen and forts.)

And admittedly not cake, but that time we made the ratatouille from Ratatouille was pretty fun, too.
